Join Dr. Maria Anderson for a six-week Food for Life cooking class held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning January 16. The plant-based nutrition and cooking course includes education, cooking demonstrations, food samples and a trip to the grocery store to learn label reading and healthy shopping. The evidenced-based program supports healthy weight management and disease management and prevention. The fee is $89. Classes are held in St. Mary’s Rehabilitation Unit. To register, call 298-6130.
