Grand Junction Toastmasters, the oldest local Toastmasters club, recently celebrated its 63rd anniversary. The club emphasizes education, encouraging members to develop and practice communication and leadership skills in a safe, supportive environment. Members work through projects that build real-world skills and learn via a proven curriculum built on four principles: experiential learning, peer feedback, mentoring, and self-paced programming. The club meets Tuesdays at 7:10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Life Center. Visitors are welcome.
